Description
A tunnel that runs between manning and holme buildings. Ceiling runs for the most part with an opening in the middle, artificially lit. Walls are a bit over 2m tall and run for a decent stretch, some stairs. Anything can be put up as long as it isn't "offensive".
Best way to get there is to walk from Redfern station or get a bus up city road and walk there. Just ask any of the students for directions to the graffiti tunnel, if they don't know where it is ask them where manning or holme is.
No chance of being hassled, police officers and university security have walked by and the most I've been told is "try not to paint on the door handles".

just a response to people that r trying to find some legal walls. apart from sydney uni, there is another legal wall called May lane. it is in st.peteres, near newtown. 100% legal i've painted there and no one has said anything or told me to leave. also get ur graff supplies at 567 king. it is in king street newtown. number 567. |

I'm from Los Angeles and will be out in Sydney next week. Although I'm not traveling for graff I would DEFINITELY like to paint while I'm there (as well as stickers)... If anyone can give any info on ANY cool spots to paint as well as GET paint I would greatly appreciate this... I work as a designer (in photoshop) and have bootlegged plenty of paperwork etc. Does anyone know what ID or paperwork looks like to be a student at this school? Here's a link...

I went to legalwall, as many have said yeah, you have to be a uni student, but as long as you dont look lad, or you're too young, you should be alright, but its pretty far to travel to get kicked out, coz it took me n my mates 3 hours to get there and we got kicked out in 5 minutes.. |

IT IS 100% TRUE THAT IT IS A WALL RESERVED FOR THE STUDENTS OF SYDNEY UNI. I KNOW BECAUSE I HAVE FRIENDS THAT GO THERE AND HAVE BEEN KICKED MULTIPLE TIMES FOR NOT HAVING A SYDNEY STUDENT ID. HOWEVER IT'S NOT A PRIORITY FOR THE GUARDS SO THEY ARE PRETTY LAX ABOUT YOU PAINTING THERE. ME AND A FRIEND WERE THERE FOR 20 MINUTES BEFORE ANY SECURITY CAME AND ONCE THEY DID THEY ASKED HOW MUCH MORE WE HAD TO DO AND SAID THEY'D GIVE US 10 MINUTES TO FINISH OFF OUR PEICES.

The guards will kick you out unless you can present your student ID. I've been kicked out before.

its not like that. It really depends on when you do it iand sometime they kick you out if you are not one of the students. I wouldnt recommend the place. JOTA |
